Red Barn Ranch

The part of the ranch where everybody ends up, sooner or later.

The pool and spa sit together in one fully gated area we call the Oasis, with wine grape covered fencing, and mature King Palms shading the gathering spots around it.

It is where the morning swim happens, where the afternoon stretches out, and where the evening finishes in warm water. Some of the family will be in the pool, and some in the shade, and that is exactly how it should be.

For families with little ones

The water sits inside its own fence.

The pool and the spa are inside one fully gated area, set apart from the rest of the four acres. For a family traveling with little ones, that is one of the first things worth knowing.

The house is ready for small guests too: three pack-n-plays, high chairs and a good supply of toys, and the main house has no stairs.

Warm water

Open year round, and warm when you want it.

It stays open year round and warms up on its own through the summer. Outside those months it can be heated upon request — ask us for seasonal rates, and give us about five days’ notice for heating in cold months. The spa is yours to start once a day, at no charge, right from your phone.

  1. Through the summer

It warms up on its own.

The California sun does the work.

  2. Outside those months

    Heated upon request.

We are glad to warm it for you. Ask us about seasonal rates, and let us know about five days ahead.

  3. Every day

    Start the spa yourself.

Once a day, at no charge. Pick anywhere from 95°F to 104°F, and it runs for three hours, then turns itself off.

Scan the QR code at the house to open your digital guide, then tap the Hot tub card. The spa heats in twenty minutes on a warm day and up to an hour on a cold one. If it ever does not come on, text us and we will take care of it. (760) 440-8881

After dark

A day at the Oasis

From the first swim to the last warm soak.

  1. Morning

The pool opens whenever the first person opens the gate.

  2. Midday

The group has found its own rhythm. Some in the water, and others in the shade of the King Palms around the gathering spots.

  3. Evening

By evening it is the spa. Start it from your phone before dinner, and it is warm by the time the plates are cleared.

  4. After dark

The Oasis lights come on at dark, and the last of the family drifts off toward s’mores by the fire.
