Red Barn Ranch

Everyone ends up in the barn, and everyone finds something to play.

Under one steel roof there is an 8-foot billiards table under our custom beam Edison light, mini-bowling, Legend’s Stadium Basketball, Legend’s Dragway, air hockey, darts, a putting green, an Xbox Series S with four controllers, a 150-inch projection screen and half a dozen arcade games on free play.

It is the easiest room in the world to lose an afternoon in, at any age.

A look around

One long room, and something in every corner

Movie night

When the games wind down, so do the lights.

The 150-inch projection screen runs on Roku, and the couches have room for the whole family to pile in. Pick a film together and settle in.

A day in the barn

It is open whenever you want it, and most afternoons someone does.

  1. Morning

The house is still waking up. Someone carries a coffee out to the barn and lines up a quiet game of billiards.

  2. Afternoon

The children take it over, and the grown-ups follow them in. Stadium Basketball, the Dragway and air hockey, all going at once.

  3. Evening

Dinner happens in the corral under string lights, and then everyone drifts back for a rematch.

  4. Before bed

A film on the big screen, or a final game of billiards or darts.

Look closer

Every wall has something on it.

Cases of die-cast cars, old road signs, a gumball machine dressed as a vintage gas pump, and a traffic light hanging over the hall. The children find something new every time they walk in, and so do the grown-ups.

The putting green has glow balls for after dark.
